The City of DeKalb will hold its 32nd Annual DeKalb Corn Fest on Friday, August 21 through Sunday, August 23, 2009 at DeKalb Taylor Municipal Airport.

Festival Hours

The festival hours are:

  • Friday, August 21st, 3pm-11pm
  • Saturday, August 22nd, 10am-11pm
  • Sunday, August 23rd, 10am-6pm

Corn Fest is one of the last remaining free music festivals among Illinois music festivals in Illinois. Corn Fest is also one of the oldest summer music festivals in Illinois. Well over 120,000 people from around Illinois and the Midwest attend the music festival over a three day weekend. This festival is going to be the best of all the 2009 music festivals. Admission to the festival is free.

This festival features a carnival complete with rides and games, food booths, live music, craft show, kiddie korner with large inflatables, family entertainment and much more. Friday night is carnival wristband nights for the kids with unlimited rides from 6-10pm. Festival areas feature booths, craft fest and a beer garden.
